Jazmin’s creative journey has taken a beautiful path. She originally began by creating tea blends and herbal products before taking time to focus on personal growth and continuing her education. Even during that pause, her desire to create never left. That pull eventually led her to jewelry-making and working with polymer clay, creating pieces that reflect her personality and bring her joy. With encouragement from her partner, Wizard Cat Shop was born—an imaginative and authentic brand built from her love of creating by hand.
Jazmin chose to join The 815 Artisan Collective because of its strong focus on community and creativity, and its dedication to supporting local makers—values that align perfectly with her vision for growing her small business.
Wizard Cat Shop specializes in whimsical, handmade jewelry crafted with intention. Jazmin often repurposes charms and materials sourced from thrift stores, giving overlooked items new life while keeping her pieces accessible and affordable. Necklaces are her favorite pieces to create, as she loves how the right necklace can pull together a whole look in a magical way.
Her designs often feature glass beads and linked elements that give a vintage, rosary-inspired feel, blending medieval influences with whimsical and darker gothic themes. A typical creative day includes sourcing materials, experimenting with new designs, and crafting cozy handmade pieces—often with The Big Bang Theory playing in the background. Many are surprised to learn that Jazmin is also a practicing herbalist, another creative passion she carries with her.
Through her work, Jazmin hopes customers feel excited and deeply connected to the pieces they choose. Most of all, she loves sharing her creativity and seeing others find joy in something she has made.
