Like so many creative journeys, Lacey’s began during a difficult season of life. Looking for a positive outlet for anxiety after some major life changes, she picked up leather crafting as a way to create—and quickly discovered a passion that grew into Red Dog Designs.
Today, Lacey creates beautiful handcrafted leather accessories with a rustic, boho-inspired style, often accented with vibrant pops of color. Her favorite pieces to make are her unique earrings, each one carefully painted and designed to bring a little extra joy to someone’s day.
Balancing a full-time job and a second small business means creativity often happens whenever she can carve out a little time. Her process, as she describes it, is “basically chaos and then hoping something good emerges eventually!” Fortunately for all of us, that chaos turns into truly beautiful pieces.
Lacey believes the world could always use a little more happiness, and that’s exactly what she hopes to create. Whether it’s a new pair of earrings or a fun accessory to personalize your favorite bag, every piece is made with the hope that it brings a smile to your face. Nothing makes her happier than spotting someone out in the community wearing something they found at Red Dog Designs.
