Say hello to Julie Latino of Latino + Crafts!
Julie’s journey began when she rediscovered her creative passions while being a stay-at-home mom. What started as a personal outlet quickly blossomed into something much more meaningful — a small-batch business rooted in heart, home, and handmade craftsmanship. Her dream? To one day pass down her love of sewing and baking to her daughter and show her the beauty of creating something tangible with her own two hands.
At Latino + Crafts, Julie offers thoughtfully made sewn goods and locally made sourdough to the community. She especially loves creating functional pieces for moms — like stylish, girly-chic diaper bags and infant car seat covers — inspired by the items she wishes she had when her daughter was younger. Every piece is designed with real life in mind.
Julie’s style is bright, happy, and feminine, often blending new fabrics with thrifted and repurposed materials. Jackets, bed sheets, and tablecloths are lovingly transformed into beautiful, practical pieces — giving old textiles new life in the most creative ways.
By day, Julie is fully in mom mode. By night, you’ll find her sewing at her machine or crocheting cozy blankets after bedtime. Her favorite part of the process? That incredible feeling of finishing a project and remembering there was once a time she didn’t think she could make something out of nothing.
You can follow along with Julie’s creations on Facebook at Latino + Crafts and on Instagram at @latinoandcrafts, and be sure to catch her at local farmers markets and community events.
We’re so excited to have her thoughtful, joy-filled creations as part of our community!
