In this hands-on workshop, you will learn to use a specialized hook (tambour hook) to chain-stitch and apply beads, sequins, and bugles onto fabric, far faster and more precisely than a traditional needle. Whether you are a fashion student, a bridal enthusiast, or a passionate embroiderer, this workshop will open up a new world of embellishment possibilities. What You Will Learn Tools & Set-up: How to select and set up the tambour hook (Luneville hook), prepare silk organza, and mount it onto a frame for perfect tension. The Basic Chain Stitch: Mastering the "Beauvais" stitch, the foundation of all tambour work. Bead & Sequin Application: Techniques for attaching seed beads, bugle beads, and sequins (both flat and cupped) from the underside of the fabric.
