Homeschool families, this one’s for you! Join us each month for Homeschool Art Lab, a hands-on art and craft experience designed for kids and their grown-up to create side-by-side. This special class is priced per pair, so both the child and parent participate together — learning new skills, exploring different materials, and making something beautiful to take home. Each month features a brand-new project and technique. One session might have you designing a small faux stained glass piece with vibrant colors and crisp outlines. This hands-on, beginner-friendly session introduces the beautiful world of bead embroidery. Unlike traditional stringing, bead embroidery involves stitching beads directly onto fabric or specialized foundation to create dimensional art, fashion, and embellishments. No prior embroidery or beading experience is required—just a desire to create!  What You Will Learn Essential Materials: Understanding bead types (seed beads, bugles), needles, thread, and stiff foundation materials.  Basic Stitches: Master the fundamental stitches, including the backstitch (for securing beads in lines), couching (for intricate detailing), and stacking (for dimensional depth).  Designing & Layout: Tips for transferring patterns onto fabric and choosing color palettes. Friendship Bracelet Fun is a hands-on, creative class where kids ages 8 and up will learn how to make colorful friendship bracelets while building confidence and having fun. In each session, students will learn a different bracelet style or technique and leave with a completed bracelet (or with the knowledge on how to finish it) to take home and show off. This class is perfect for beginners and returning makers alike. We’ll cover basic knotting, patterns, color selection, and simple design skills in a relaxed, encouraging environment. Perfect for creative tweens and teens, this hands-on fiber arts class introduces students to the relaxing and creative world of weaving. Each session focuses on a new weaving technique while guiding students through the process of creating a unique finished project. Students will explore a variety of weaving styles and materials while making different items such as wall hangings, coasters, small tapestries, bookmarks, and other woven pieces. As they progress, they’ll learn how to combine textures, colors, and patterns while building their confidence and fiber art skills.   This class is designed especially for homeschool tweens and teens who enjoy hands-on creativity and learning new artistic techniques.
