Open Craft Lab is a relaxed, come-as-you-are creative time where young makers can bring any project they’re working on and enjoy crafting alongside friends. Whether you’re crocheting, drawing, painting, making bracelets, sewing, or working on another creative project, this is a welcoming space to create, chat, and share ideas with other crafty tweens and teens. There’s no formal instruction—just a supportive environment filled with creativity and inspiration. Don’t have a project to bring? No problem! We’ll have a variety of craft kits and projects available for purchase in the classroom, so you can jump right in and start making. Come hang out, get creative, and enjoy time with fellow young makers at the collective! . To skip online fees, you’re also welcome to sign up in-store, or by emailing business@the815artisancollective.com or calling/texting the collective at 815-570-3815. This open craft time is designed to be relaxed and flexible, so families can drop in, take breaks, and enjoy creating at their own pace. Participants are welcome to bring their own projects from home or choose from a selection of curated craft kits available for purchase and designed by our instructors. Whether you’re painting, stitching, building, or trying something new, this is a space to connect, create, and spend meaningful time together. All ages and skill levels are welcome.
