Each student will choose a base item such as a trinket dish, vase, bowl, or other decorative piece and then combine paint, patterned papers, and layering techniques to create a one-of-a-kind design. Along the way, students will learn the basics of decoupage, painting techniques, sealing finishes, and how to combine colors and patterns for a polished look.
This relaxed, creative class is perfect for homeschool tweens and teens who enjoy hands-on art projects and want to learn how to turn simple items into stylish décor they can display at home or give as gifts. All materials are included, and students will leave with a finished decorative piece to take home.
