Creative Hangouts: Open Craft Studio

Grab a seat at the craft table and let your creativity take over! Tween & Teen Open Craft Lab is a relaxed, come-as-you-are creative time where young makers can bring any project they’re working on and enjoy crafting alongside friends. Whether you’re crocheting, drawing, painting, making bracelets, sewing, or working on another creative project, this is a welcoming space to create, chat, and share ideas with other crafty tweens and teens. There’s no formal instruction—just a supportive environment filled with creativity and inspiration. Don’t have a project to bring? No problem! We’ll have a variety of craft kits and projects available for purchase in the classroom, so you can jump right in and start making. Come hang out, get creative, and enjoy time with fellow young makers at the collective!

Creative Hangouts are relaxed, social classes designed for tweens and teens who enjoy creating and connecting with others. These classes are generally geared toward ages 11 and up, but we trust parents to decide what’s the best fit for their child.

To skip online fees, you’re also welcome to sign up in-store, or by emailing business@the815artisancollective.com or calling/texting the collective at 815-570-3815. We’re happy to accept payment directly through PayPal, Venmo or Zelle.
